This is what they look like inside. Designed so no one can run off with the outdorr furniture no doubt...

This is also a very important conservation area... Kurt just built it all recently...

This will only be interesting to people who are concerned about conservation... in this picture on the right are some pieces of plastic piping. They were placed there so the endangered Fairy Terns could nest...

They should put MORE imo.

So I'm heading to the Groyne... this is one way's view...

And this is looking back to where I came from...

And this is the Groyne I climbed up to take the sunset shots..

But many funny things happened on the way to the Groyne..

It was 41 today... and VERY still at the beach... A storm is brewing.

I have some pretty good shots of the best tonight... I might load them later!

This was the sunset at its best!

The view pointing away from the sunset.

I thought this was a really cool thing to do with a sea container... Turn it into a picnic hut! This is one of two situated ontop of the Groign.

All this happens in the hours walk around the beach...And plenty more I obviously cannot show online!

Tonight I visited the Ciao Italian Restaurant in Applecross, Perth WA. This is the second time I've visited in two weeks. It was full of patrons and very, very noisy. I video taped the noise and to entertain Bra1n, a Kurt and Cathy argument I just know Kurt loves. I find it a chore to talk in such a noisy place and having to raise my voice is a bit difficult..

I only had Garlic bread, Minestroni soup and Lasagne this time. Last time I had Tortellini with mushroom sauce. That's my favourite. I cook my ow Italian dishes. They're very easy to make... I just wanted to go out cuz and no other reason.

Garlic Bread, (a tad light on the garlic)

Minestrone Soup, (a little watery) plenty of it though.

Lasagne, (Perfection) Just right but very filling especially after soup...lol

One thing I respect about Italians, they take pride in the freshness of food ingrdients in their dishes. You cannot say the same about Asian rubbish. They recycle stuff. I personally think I'll never eat another Asian dish unless I prepare it myself!

I'm waiting on the video in youtube. With any luck, this new fight will erase the Fremantle prison episode from Bra1n's mind.

It'll be ready in a few minutes..

Mexican Breakfast at Walter's Cafe on the Swan River at Bicton. Really nice flate bread stuffed with spinach and feta.. beans on top and two poached eggs about $17.00

Big Breakfast... everything visible on the plate. about $19.00

While waiting for the cafe to open at 8 am, a magpie asked me to take her picture...I said, sure ok!

It's just a beautiful tranquil location...

I've made no secret Rydges is one of my favourite places but the last time I went I was a little disappointed. Apparently Asians have taken over and the food isn't as good as it used to be....

We bloody well do NOT need another freaking Chinese style place... Even the bloody Chinese want to try other foods you know... Get a clue people.

Anyway that's another story... It reeks class this place... Right near the water front at Fishermans Harbour...

So, what did I have this time you ask... well, give me a little bit and I'll tell you!

Entree... Little bit of squid, boring chicken, my all time favourite hobbit food, mushrooms, (and they did not disappoint) A tiny piece of potato, capsicum, onion, and goodness knows what that white stuff was but its possible it was some type of salty cheese.

My main meals (I had two) was turkey and yes, I KNOW I said it's a horrible bird before but whoever cooked this turkey must have found the nicest, yummiest one left on the planet... It was AMAZINGLY tender. Obviously I had some vegetables with that.

My second mainmeal was fish with fresh taragon and more vegetables..

Wait until you see my dessert..

My birthday was last Friday and it took 3 days to get to my celebration... that and Rydges, normally $45 a head, for the next month it's $31 a head everyday and that's a $14 saving...

The display was lovely however, my favourite wasn't there... nor was my stuff squid.

This was what faced me in the cold section... or part of it at least...

Very uninviting chicken

My favurite mushrooms...

Roasted Capsicum and Eggplant....

Prawns.. I didn't choose any. I had lobster yesterday so I'm seafood spent really but they looked insipid anyway...

I had this... it was much better than the chicken... The squid!

I had some fruit for dessert

With butterscotch mousse ... and jelly and cream not photographed for obvious reasons... we all know what jelly looks like!

I admit to really pigging out on this...

AND I stuffed down some pavlova for good measure..

OK so now I'm changing image hosts ....imageshake #2 book is full...

The cheese was VERY tempting. I should have had a doggy bag..

Nice birthday bash... I'll have wait until April for the next one!
